Firstly, ill state that any inconsistencies in your form will be addressed in context. personally i believe there are no mistakes in art, unless you choose to define an aspect as such. That being said i genuinely can't think of any real criticism beyond what you yourself would wish to alter.
Technique wise, You blend your styles and perspectives very uniquely in contrast to most, if not almost all other artists who submit to these texture and shading styles. Most noticeably the way in which you express soft colors in quite a bold manner. This piece is a great exemplification of your ability to craft bold tones from soft textures and colors. The background being warped and distorted with a scheme of almost purely soft vertical lines and colors creates an extremely conflicting white space effect which draws immediate focus to chrysalis but keeps the perspective broad and varied enough to offer a genuinely interesting value. The gloomy yet vivid illumination and lighting coupled with the horizontal strokes emanating from the top left create a perspective depth in reference to both the background and chrysalis which in my opinion has worked very, very well when coupled with chrysalis' lines, being inorganic and organic under certain shades, and the curvature of her hair and upper body very much project a distorted and harsh form and effect on the composition. Which is again extremely well executed because of how soft and malleable the rest of the piece is in terms of technique and scheme.
Surface texture is your strongest aspect here with point of interests being the eyes and neck giving off a vibrant hue and giving definition to the whole piece. As for shading, again, genuinely excellent. Creating a line of focus and distinction along the horizontal axis of the light radiating inwards and projecting downwards onto chrysalis, contrast being created between the sensual and sullen strokes of both her form and value against the background and linework.
The entire medium with which you've chosen to go about creating this piece couldn't be more appropriate to your style and ability. Your strongest point is contrast and blending styles and values.
If there was any criticism to be given, which i will, it's that your style is overly fluid. And not necessarily in a good way, it quite clearly hinders your ability to draw with a definitive proportion, or proportions. Almost TOO artistic, you need to greatly expand upon your ability to define the parameters of your piece. Line work for example, this piece screams inconsistent direction. and so it's left with a larger than life feel which can mentally underwhelm those not prepared to look beyond the aesthetic.
You have some nice color combinations in this picture. I also really like how she looks like a casual pony in this picture and not like she thinks she's something special. Additionally it's cute.

All in all, a great piece of art.
